With this sea Kayaking excursion along Taormina and Giardini Naxos's coastline, you paddle through one of the most spectacular stretches of the Sicilian sea. In a two-hour kayak trip, we will take you to visit two marine caves, Naxos Bay with Mount Etna in the background and the beautiful Isola Bella's Marine Park of Taormina, housing the Grotta Azzurra (Blue Cave). This relaxing kayak tour in Taormina is among the best activities to enjoy the incredible beauty of the Mediterranean sea and to visit some of the most iconic marine landmarks of Taormina and Giardini Naxos. This trip can be extended to the beach of Mazzarò for experienced Kayakers. The price of this kayak excursion includes all the technical equipment, a locker, a changing room, and a guide. We offer single and tandem kayaks.

Escursion Details

The departure of this excursion takes place from Giardini Naxos' bay. For the first half-hour, we will be paddling in the clear water of Naxos. We will enter the small but enchanting lover's Cave before passing Capo Taormina's blue waters. Guided by one of our guides, we will paddle by the iconic Faraglioni of the Fico d'India, an impressive vertical rock covered with cactus. Finally, we enter the marine reserve, where we'll be moving around the small island off the coast of Taormina and inside the blue Cave. Once back to the starting point, you can go for a swim and enjoy a drink lying on the beach near our kayaking school. We do small group excursions.
